Clean Focus was engaged to complete a comprehensive make-good clean of a 10,000sqm industrial warehouse ahead of lease handover. The project centred on restoring heavily soiled concrete flooring using the Nilfisk CS7010 hybrid floor scrubber, delivering a deep mechanical clean to remove embedded grime, dust, and surface contaminants. Additional works included high-level dusting, detailed cleaning of walls and skirting boards, and removal of residual waste. The facility was returned on time, fully compliant, and presentation-ready in line with all handover requirements.
02
The challenge
The primary challenge was the restoration of heavily soiled concrete flooring across a vast area within tight timeframes. Additionally, the facility required high-level dusting, deep surface cleaning, and external pressure washing—all while ensuring minimal disruption and strict adherence to safety protocols
03
Key responsbilities
Our team carried out a full industrial-grade clean across internal and external areas of the warehouse. From deep mechanical scrubbing to precise surface detailing, each task was executed with care, safety, and efficiency to meet strict handover standards.
Site Pre-Inspection
Pre-inspected the area to identify hazards, large debris, or spills requiring removal before scrubbing
Pre-operational equipment checks
Performed checks on the Nilfisk CS7010, including battery or fuel levels, squeegee condition, and water/chemical tank status.
Scrubber configuration
Set up scrubbing settings appropriate to floor type and soil level, adjusting brush pressure, water flow, and detergent mix accordingly.
Machine operation
Operated the scrubber safely and efficiently, maintaining consistent passes to ensure even floor coverage.
Tank and filter maintenance
Emptied recovery tanks and cleaned filters regularly to maintain suction performance and avoid downtime.
Post-clean inspection
Conducted inspections after cleaning to confirm all areas were effectively treated and addressed any missed spots or buildup.
Surface assessment
Assessed surfaces such as concrete, cladding, and façades for condition, contamination, and correct pressure settings to prevent damage.
Pressure cleaning operation
Safely operated pressure cleaning equipment, using correct nozzle types, applying chemicals where required, and managing environmental controls like water runoff.
External surface cleaning
Thoroughly cleaned designated external areas including walls, footpaths, driveways, and entry points, removing dirt, oil, mould, and other contaminants.
